Kennebec Technologies Completes NIST Assessment

Kennebec Technologies recently completed a current assessment to the NIST Special Publication 800-171 Department of Defense Assessment Methodology, as is required pursuant to DFARS clause 252.204-7012. The assessment considers 110 specific security elements for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The result of this Basic Assessment is recorded in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) for verification by DoD and its contractors prior to contract award

Kennebec Technologies continues to enhance its position as a go-to DoD supplier of precision machining with timely adoption and compliance to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations. Efforts are currently underway to embrace full compliance to DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements, with Certification planned in 2022.
